Assefa Leake

Assefa Leake Gebru is an Ethiopian national with a wealth of expertise in Political Science. He holds a PhD in Political Theory and an MA in International Relations. Currently, Dr Leake serves as an Assistant Professor at Mekelle University's Department of Political Science and Strategic Studies. His academic pursuits are centred on conducting research to address societal problems in the context of rebuilding postwar societies, promoting democracy and good governance, human security, and conflict resolution and peace-building.
