Saker El Nour is a freelance writer and researcher. His works focused on access to resource, agrarian change, and rural wellbeing in the Arab world. He earned his Ph.D. degree in sociology at Paris-Nanterre University and has published in the Review of African Political Economy and Contemporary Arab Affairs Journal. Over the past three years, he published news reporters at Mada Masr, Al-manasa, and Jadaliyya. His co-authored book, Political Economy of Food Sovereignty in Egypt, is forthcoming with Dar Safsafa in Cairo.
