Gerald Mirirai Mabweazara (PhD) is a medical sociologist and researcher specialising in reproductive health, infertility, assisted reproductive technology (ART), and reproductive justice in Africa. He completed his PhD at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, where his research examined the lived experiences of infertility and ART in Zimbabwe and among Black women in New Zealand. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Global Public Health, Sexuality & Culture, and Culture, Health & Sexuality, focusing on infertility, reproductive inequalities, and fertility care governance in sub-Saharan Africa.
