Giulia Piccolino is Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Loughborough University. She is currently researching the consequences of rebel governance in Côte d’Ivoire and territorial planning for state-building in post-conflict Colombia. She is also interested in exploring non-liberal forms of conflict management and post-conflict reconstruction.
Sabine Franklin earned her PhD from the School of Organisations, Economy and Society at the University of Westminster. She is interested in local politics in West Africa, especially around issues of health and development. Her thesis examines the local response of 2014 Ebola outbreak in a comparative case study of Sierra Leone and Liberia.
