Jacinta Victoria S. Muinde is a Social Anthropologist at the Department of Social Anthropology, University of Oslo. Her research is based on extensive ethnographic fieldwork in Kenya focusing on social protection, welfare and healthcare interventions. She is currently developing research on epidemics and digital and mobile technologies in Kenya. Her doctoral research was awarded the Audrey Richards Prize by the African Studies Association of the UK and the Royal Anthropological Institute's Sutasoma Award.
