Lowan Lee is currently working in Mozambique with the GIZ on financial inclusion, with a particular focus on women-led micro enterprises. A graduate of McGill University, previous work experience brought Lowan to Tajikistan, Argentina, and Bangladesh. Current research interests are gender norms in Mozambique, indigenous plant remedies in Southern Africa, and violent conflicts around large infrastructure projects globally.
