Sudan: Which is Your Party?
The website, www.electionnaire.com provides an online guide to the parties’ political programmes. It asks you for your position on 30 different issues facing Sudan, from the CPA and national unity to the health services and educational curricula, and depending on your answers, advises you how your position aligns with those espoused by the parties. It’s a great educational tool.
The website is a product of Sudan Votes, produced by Media in Cooperation and Transition.
President Omer al Bashir has a website for his campaign, as well as the NCP for Khartoum (the national NCP website has not been updated for 18 months).
The SPLM candidate, Yasir Arman, has a website in addition to the SPLM party site.
The Umma Party site is also online, but line most of the party websites, is not updated regularly.
The site of Girifna (“we are fed up”) is also worth visiting.
