Goktug Caliskan

Göktuğ Çalışkan is a researcher and writer based in Morocco, working primarily on African geopolitics, the Sahel and security. He studied at the International University of Rabat, where he completed a master’s degree examining China-Africa relations and the Belt and Road Initiative through the cases of Kenya and Uganda. He ais currently pursuing doctoral research there focused on security and political dynamics in the Sahel, particularly Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.
