Marie Morelle is a Senior Lecturer in Geography at the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. She is currently in Cameroon at the Institute for Research and Development (IRD). She coordinated with Frederic Le Marcis the research programme ‘Economies of Punishment and Prison in Africa’ funded by the French National Research Agency (2015-2019).
Sylvain Faye is a Lecturer in Anthropology at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop, Senegal.
Frédéric Le Marcis is Professor of Anthropology at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, member of the research team Triangle (UMR 5206), and a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Research and Development (IRD). Currently working in the Republic of Guinea, his research explores health issues especially viral experiences in Guinean history and the circulation of global models of care and punishment in the context of emerging disease and pandemics.
