Esther Mokuwa is a Sierra Leonean social science researcher and a PhD holder from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. She coordinated international research projects in agrarian development and rural health systems, at Njala University. She did her field work at the height of the Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone working with the International Ebola Response Anthropology Platform.
Paul Richards is an anthropologist with experience of living and working in West Africa over several decades. He is a professor at Njala University in Sierra Leone. He is author of Ebola: How a People's Science Helped End an Epidemic (2016).
