Mvemba Phezo Dizolele is a writer, foreign policy analyst and lecturer in African Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He has been embedded as a reporter with UN peacekeepers in Ituri, Lake Albert and South Kivu. He served as an election monitor with the Carter Center in Congo in 2006 and 2011.
